Mr. Edward J. Soko was born in Bolahun Town Kolahun District, Lofa County, Liberia on November 2, 1969. He is married and is blessed with two boys and a girl. He is a member of the Pure Fire Miracles International Church.
Edward Jusu Soko is the Administrator of Liberian National Union (LINU). With the advice and consultation of the Chairman and Political Leader and support from the Secretary General and other executive party members, conduct the daily administrative functions of LINU. Previously served as Liaison of the Party.
Soko graduated in 2001 December 19, from the College of Business and Public Administration, University of Liberia with a BBA degree in Accounting. He earned a Diploma in General Electricity from the Booker Washington Institute, Kakata, Margibi County on December 18, 1988.
Soko served as Founding Secretary General of the Student Unification Movement (SUM), a student political party established in 1987on Booker Washington Institute that contested and won the student council elections.
He also served as Secretary General and founding member of the Gourches Social and Athletics Club also founded on Booker Washington Institute Campus in 1985, Secretary of the constitution drafting committee for the Gourches Social and Athletics Club; Vice Principal of the School of Christ Elementary in Saye Town; Sinkor, Monrovia, Director of Planning and Programs at the same institute. He was an instructor at Salvation Army School System Len Millar Junior and Senior High School on 24th Street, Sinkor and also served as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee for one academic semester and was privileged to also serve as Director of the School’s Health Club for Four years.
Soko is a founder and first Principal of the Bishop Alfred Jackson International School System (BAJISS) for the Living Apostolic Pentecostal Church (LAPC) in Bassa community Monrovia. He founded the Self Help Financial Club on Camp Johnson Road, served as President of the Genesis Football Club, President of Rolling Stone Football Club, Secretary of the Jallah Town Savings Club, Secretary General, of the Association of the Masses to elect Ellen for second term (AMSOE)-Electoral District 8, worked with K&K Trading Corporation as Accountant/Comptroller; Administrative Personnel Manager of the Quench Your Thirst International Inc and served as English Instructor on a voluntary basis at the Kolahun Public School in Kolahun, Lofa county; served as Accountant at the Gbandi Farmers Cooperative Society. Administrative Manager, Southern Mining & Investment Group, and currently employed as Vice Principal for Instructions and Instructor at the Cornerstone International Academy.
Soko has received many honors and Certificates. These include:

He also participated in many other trainings in areas of Sports administration, Financial training in Election Financing- National Elections Commission; Training of Trainers workshop for Party Agents.
He served as a delegate to attend and participate in the All Liberia Peace Conference in Virginia, Unity Conference Center in 1994 to broker peace.
